<<Tofu Ball and vegetables with Orange Chicken Sauce>>


Orange chicken sauce!!! Boiled tofu is pressed and water out, and then crushed. Soybeans and chopped onion are mixed well with crushed tofu, starch, a little salt and pepper...and make it small ball. These tofu balls, little potatoes and brussels sprouts are deep fried. Orange chicken sauce is made from soy sauce, vinegar, sugar, sesame oil, garlic, ginger, dried red chili pepper and fresh orange juice... Enjoy home made "orange chicken sauce" with healthy tofu and vegetables instead of chicken meat!!!!

Millefeuille...

<< Lotus Roots "KABAYAKI" Millefeuille >>

This is alike "Eel OSHI-SUSHI" that is made from lotus roots.. Pasted grated lotus roots and dried seaweed are pan-fried. Dip it in home made kabayaki sauce, and broil. It is piled with sushi rice, cucumber, avocado and shiso leaf..and make it a like millefeuille. Served with wasabi yuzu mayonnaise sauce and kabayaki sauce... Very good :))

This is a great cold appetizer in hot summer day... 1st layer is sliced tomato. 2nd layer is mountain potato cake..grated mountain potato mixed with agar, and it cools. 3rd layer is yuzu ponzu jelly..yuzu flavored ponzu mixed with gelatin, and it cools. served with cucumber and shiso dressing. Boiled fresh fava bean for accessory...

Leek..

<< Leek and Eggplant Steak with Miso Aioli & Cheese >> 

1/2" sliced leek and eggplant are cooked on pan until nicely brown...and after, leek is steamed for a while. White miso is mixed with homemade aioli, and pour over on the Veggies.. Also, mozzarella and bread crumbs are sprinkled...and, place in a oven  until nice smell.. Enjoy with sun dried tomato and shiso flavored rice boll :))

Twins..

They are the lovely twins wearing hat... :)  I made shiso leaf roll with brown rice, and pan-fried. Thinly sliced lotus roots are fried until crispy.. Enjoy it with curry mayo and golden raison, or sweet miso mayo and soybean... Take a bite??

Boiled and water out tofu, minced tuna, sautéed chopped onions, salt, pepper, egg, bread crumbs, milk and nutmeg are mixed very well.. Form mixture into nice size and pan fry. Serve with home made special sauce is made from vegetable juice and spice.. Boiled quail egg and petite peas for accessaries... :)

Potato...

What kind of food is this?? I don't know...  Boiled potatoes are smushed with starch. Risotto made with shiitake broth, unsalted butter, garlic, onion, shiitake, sun dried tomatoes, petite peas, golden raisons, basil flakes, white rice, salt and black peppers.. Risotto is wrapped in the mushed potatoes, and it is baked for a while in oven. When the surface gets dry, a little sweet soy sauce is applied to it, and Parmesan cheese powder is sprinkled...it will return for a while into oven.. When you get good smell, it is ready to eat!!! :)
